* The editor prefers to draw the map into an offscreen bitmap, which it can do at high speed. To do this it requires memory: a setting of 490K for a maximum size map at a block size of 8 (2 Meg at a block size of 16). It can run in as little as about 120-150K without using the offscreen area.
* The default is to save a "new" style map. To save an "old" style map, hold down the option key when clicking in the menubar.
* Printing is very slow on high resolution devices, but quite reasonable on ImageWriters. This is due to the way postscript handles patterns.
* To create deep sea, choose the water tool and hold down the option key when clicking on the map.
* To edit the characteristics of a base or pillbox, hold down the command key when clicking on it.
* The "tab" key toggles between modes (no selection mode yet), and the top row of keys on the keyboard choose the terrian type. Or use the mouse, I don't care.
* One final note: a map created in Bolo will be centered. A map created in BoloMapEditor will be in the upper left hand corner. If you read a map created in Bolo into the editor and see only deep sea, look in the lower right hand corner. (Oops)
